We have improved every aspect of video capture and performance, cutting the minimum stitching distance in half, doubling the zoom capability and increasing the native capture resolution by 300%. The super-optimized multi-camera array consists of three 13 Megapixels video cameras, which work as one, to deliver crystal clear video over 180º field of view at Panoramic-4K resolution, without the distortion of ultra wide-angle or fisheye lens cameras.

Several key innovations in Imaging Science, Computer Vision, Electronic System architecture and Semiconductor Design, and Artificial Intelligence enabled us to make three cameras work as one in the PanaCast camera systems.
A core innovation in PanaCast is our fourth-generation stitching technology, debuting with PanaCast 3. It creates pixel-accurate stitching of the video streams from adjacent cameras in real time, with an ultra low latency of 5 ms for the stitching process achieved with the PanaCast Vision Processor built into the PanaCast camera systems. The PVP also mathematically renders each pixel to a cylindrical surface to produce a natural looking visual perspective. There are eight additional processors for specific pipeline tasks in the PanaCast systems.
